Don't take me wrong, but I think our FBB housemates have been much warmer to Cathy than PBB housemates to Kätlin. They are speaking very much only tagalog at PBB and that seems little unpolite. Of course they are also speaking Finnish in FBB, but most of the time someone is there and translating what others speak in Finnish.

Then I found this one at PBB forum:

Google translate: rob was the teaching that they don .. not like visitors and foreigner was katlin .. than that they say "it's not our fault that you can not speak our language, learn it yourself"

Is that really correct? I'm little bit shocked if it is...

I followed PBB few days before Kätlin arrived and Melai and Rica really impressed me. They seem to be funny and kind persons. I hope Kätlin can meet those too.

ATM the PBB stream 1 is again showing only PBB logo, don't know what happened there.

I can't confirm if Rob really said that "it's not our fault that you can't speak our language, learn it yourself". But I can say that he's rude even to the other Filipina housemates, especially when he is drunk. He told (or joked) another female housemate something about doing a sexual act.

He grew up in Austria, I think that's why he didn't know that Filipinas are not used to be talked like that by a man.

Yes, that's the usual guy. But the're are also others, BB has several voices, even a woman's voice

Don't take me wrong, but I think our FBB housemates have been much warmer to Cathy than PBB housemates to Kätlin.

I think it's almost impossible to have decent conversation with Kätlin, her vocabulary is pretty bad. I've been following her for while and mostly she will just say "okay, yes, no" and she ain't really trying to ask questions.

It's not that impossible if they give her a chance. Her english skills maybe bit rough but she is very outgoing and openminded gal so she will do her part. I hope those PBB HMs do their part. And let's keep in mind that english is only Kätlin's fourth or fifth language. Her english may not be fluent but at least she's trying her best. She hates to be left alone so hopefully at least someone of PBB HMs keeps her company.


Treat her well.

It is nice to see that our HMs have taken good care of Cathy and most of our HMs speaks English rather well. It seems that she is doing fine here and she is enjoying her trip.
