Stunning model, Lucy Pinder, has revealed to The Daily Star that she is “up for anything” to make this series of CBB memorable.

“The 25-year-old glamour model, who is rumoured to be entering the Celebrity Big Brother house when the show returns in January, sought the advice of close friends and reality TV stars Nicola McLean and Chanelle Hayes on how to create a stir during her time in the BB House.

“I’m in it to win it,” she told friends, according to The Daily Star. “I want to make this a show to remember. I’ll be up for anything… even a bit of girl-on-girl fun.”

One of her close friends, apparently, told the paper: “Lucy has been getting really nervous about her appearance and asked a few people for some tips on what to do to win over fans.

“They told her that the best way to make a big impact is indulge in a little bit of harmless lesbian loving. She’s come up with a game plan to be as shocking and outrageous as possible. She’s also got a beautiful body and plans to put as much of it on display as often as possible.”

Lucy Pinder’s friends claim that the CBB fans “are in for a real treat” when she enters the House. The 25 year old model, who is an advocate of Kick 4 Life charity which supports the funding of charitable projects through football based initiatives, also has a fear of clowns and wasps and is staunchly opposed to racism according to her entry on Wikipedia.

Pinder is expected to be joined by Ulrika Jonsson, Mutya Buena and Michelle Heaton. She is reportedly being paid £150,000 for her appearance – £25,000 less than Ulrika – to liven up the House.

Ex-housemate, George Galloway, offers some advice to fellow Scottish politician Tommy Sheridan about entering the CBB house.

George Galloway, who entered the famous house in 2006 and was evicted on Day 21, has written on Dailyrecord.co.uk’s website his tips for fellow Scottish politician, Tommy Sheridan, based on his experiences in the series.

Tommy Sheridan is a socialist Scottish MP, who was infamously linked to a drugs and sex scandal by the News of the World in 2006. Further scandals including accusations of perjury in subsequent trials followed, but Sheridan has been rumoured to become a housemate in this year’s series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Galloway advises Sheridan against arguing with other Housemates. Galloway said: “Although history has absolved me…, at the time, I paid the ultimate price – eviction.”

Galloway also spoke of how to combat the inevitable boredom of being cut off from the outside world whilst inside the Big Brother compound. He said: “Take some mighty issues in with you to weigh up, because deprivation of the news from elsewhere is every bit as deadly as deprivation of sleep or other pleasures denied “inside”.”

George Galloway also suggests that flirting can be dangerous within the Big Brother House, no matter how harmless it is intended to be perceived. He said: “long after the public have forgotten, your missus will still be bringing it up.”

In closing, Galloway advised Sheridan to “take not yourself, nor the whole thing, too seriously; roll with it, laugh with it.”

80's singing sensation is set to sign

The Sun is reporting that 80’s singing star Steve Strange is in last minute talks to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.

Real name, Steven Harrington found fame with 80’s band Visage. Sources say that bosses are desperate to sign him after watching controversial David Van Day on I’m A Celebrity…

The star is said to be desperate to kick start a reality TV career. Strange has also been a celebrity ‘contestant’ on Celebrity Scissorhands.

A source said: ”He’s not a huge name like LaToya Jackson but he’s a zany character and that’s what Big Brother is all about.”

House pictures released!

Red bathroom, blue garden

Images of the new Celebrity Big Brother house have FINALLY been released by Channel 4, 3 days before the new series begins.

Concern has been voiced on internet forums recently regarding the lack of house pictures, which are normally revealed weeks before the series begins, but they're out now - here's a guided tour!

The bathroom now features gold and red wallpaper and sofas, with steps leading up to the bath (could this mean that Mini-Me actor Verne Troyer is a housemate?)





The garden is now blue and features an expanded jail, and an 'ice cube' seating area. The ashtray remains for smokers, but it has now been placed under a shelter.









The basic bedroom remains, however the red strike on the carpet has now been replaced with three stars.



Two exercise bikes have been added to the living area, and a chaise-longue has been added to the luxury bedroom.





The shard decorations in the entrance hall have been updated to have stars in the centre.

Bungling Zezi given a BB boot

BIG Brother’s Little Brother co-host Zezi Ifore has been sensationally dumped from this year’s line-up.

TV Biz can reveal the presenter wasn’t asked to return as bosses gave George Lamb a bigger role — and signed up shamed telly star Michael Barrymore as roving reporter.

Zezi, 23, was such a flop on last year’s show Big Brother fans made video montages of her worst performances and posted them on YouTube. She also infuriated telly bosses by turning up late for work and fluffing her lines.

A source said: “Zezi was awful last year.

“She was unprofessional and the fans hated her. When Michael Barrymore nicks your job you know you’ve had it.”

Her other media work includes editing pretentious style mag Super Super and dressing up rap star Dizzee Rascal for a fashion shoot.

Tina plans dream wedding after her stint in CBB

Shameless actress Tina Malone reveals plans for her 2009 wedding, but is it true that she’ll be entering the CBB House next month?

Myparkmag.co.uk reported today that she has been reportedly signed up for a stint within the CBB House but demanded a £30,000 fee from C4 producers. If she wins the show she will no doubt make much more money from the media coverage, which could be enough to pay for her dream honeymoon.

She told BBC Radio Manchester, according to myparkmag.co.uk: “I’m getting married to my fella Stu next year (2009) and I just thought I’m never, ever going to be a fat bride.

“I’m the same as any other woman, I want my partner to say to me: you look amazing. And I’m sorry, as long as you’re fat, you can scrub up as well as you can, but you’re never going to look classy, elegant or beautiful.”

According to the article, Tina has recently undergone a gastric balloon operation to reduce her dress size from a size 26 to a size 18 and plans to shed another five stone before her wedding. Perhaps she will be using the exercise bikes that have been installed in the House to help her to lose weight.

Malone has stared in Brookside and Dinnerladies, and runs her own acting school in Liverpool. Malone is perhaps most famous for her portrayal of Mimi Maguire - the matriarch of the infamous Maguire family in C4’s Shameless. She is often found head butting other characters and raging into foul mouthed rants to anyone who dares cross her path. Could this be a sign of things to come in the CBB House?

Pinder doesn’t want to be a Telly-Tubby



Lucy Pinder vows to shed the pounds to boost her appearance on CBB.

According to the Daily Star, Lucy Pinder - like fellow rumoured Housemate Tina Malone – has been dieting to make sure that she doesn’t look too fat for CBB.

Determined to look her best during her time in the CBB House, the Daily Star are reporting today, that Lucy Pinder has been totally teetotal over the festive season and has also been limiting the number of treats that she indulges in. However, if you were worried, Lucy’s pal has been talking to the newspapers once more, and reassured her fans that: “she is not going to lose so much weight that it starts to come off her boobs.”

The friend went on to say: “Ever since she found out that she made it onto the show she has been hitting the gym and cutting back on all the treats that you usually scoff over Christmas.

“Everyone knows that the camera adds 10 pounds and she does not want to look fat on the telly. You can’t blame her. This is a great opportunity.”

Despite the Daily Star’s obsession with giving Pinder the most media coverage before the series kicks off, she is still not the bookie’s early favourite for a win. Despite the fact that the line-up will not be officially confirmed until the live-launch show on Friday night, bookmakers Paddypower; they are offering odds of 9-2 for Verne Taylor winning, 5-1 for Ben Adams, 6-1 on Steve Strange but just 14-1 for Lucy Pinder earning the crown.

CBB6 ‘will not be sanitised’



The CBB5 race row will not result in CBB6 being sanitised

Channel 4 have announced that the forthcoming series of Celebrity Big Brother ‘will not be sanitised’, following the race row which surrounded the last series.

The programme will return this Friday after a break was taken last year. The last series in 2007 was highly controversial after Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty became a victim of a race row involving Jade Goody. The fallout from the row prompted over 40,000 complaints to Channel 4.

Channel 4 commisioning editor, David Williams, said: “There’s never been a case of sanitising Big Brother.”

However, there are plans in place to prevent a repeat of a similar scandal according to Williams: “We’ve got procedures in place so we can cope with any eventuality.”

Phil Edgar Jones, creative director at the Endemol-owned company Brighter Pictures, added: “If things are getting out of hand, we’ll deal with them. We have so many checks and balances we’ve imposed upon ourselves.”

Spin-off show Big Brother’s Big Mouth will not be fronted by controversial comedian Russell Brand like in 2007. His replacement, Jack Whitehall, is looking forward to presenting the E4 show: “Russell Brand was very good at doing it. But I want to make it my own, so hopefully I can do that - and there will be no prank calls.”

Celebrities rumoured to enter the house on Friday are Verne Troyer, Michelle Heaton, Lucy Pinder and LaToya Jackson, among others.

Psychiatrists will watch over the house

Big Brother bosses have admitted that the celebrities taking part in the forthcoming CBB series will be watched 24/7 by trained psychiatrists in order to avoid another CBB5-style controversy.

Show chief, Phil Edgar Jones, told The Sun: “We have a specific welfare team. Their job is to watch the housemates and report any problems they may be observing. That could be people who have been isolated or are unhappy in some way, or who just aren’t very well.”

Also for the first time ever, the celebrities have undergone psychological tests to ensure that they are in a fit enough state to enter the house. A show source said: “The tests probably weren’t good for their egos, but they were important to try to get a good trouble-free series.”

Edgar Jones also reiterated that it was vital for the series not to cause a media storm like two years ago: “We understand there’s a lot of scrutiny on TV at the moment. But we’ve imposed so many checks to spot inappropriate behaviour; we should be OK.”

Celebrities to watch ‘race row’ footage



Bosses are desperate to avoid problems this year

Producers have told celebrities that they must watch clips of the Celebrity Big Brother ’race row’ to prevent another scandal.

The row which causes international outrage took place in January 2007, with Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O’Meara being at the forefront of ‘racist bullying’ towards Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.

It resulted in 50,000 complaints to Channel 4 and the regulator Ofcom. Executive producer Sharon Powers said: ”We told everyone to look on YouTube and sent them DVDs. We’ve spoken to them all in detail about what the boundaries are.”

However, the bosses were reluctant to impose a swearing ban on the celebrities. We reported earlier that producers said that the show would not be sanitized this year. They’re obviously not keeping to their word!

Bosses are hoping for a fun and love-filled series

Big Brother bosses are hoping for a fun sixth series of Celebrity Big Brother, with romance to grip the public.

Producers of the hit Channel 4 show are desperate for the programme to return to form and are hoping that it turns out to be like CBB4, which is regarded as the best celebrity series.

CBB4 is generally considered as a fun series by bosses, and saw fake celebrity Chantelle’s relationship with singer Preston grip the nation. An impressive 4.9 million viewers tuned in daily - the highest for any CBB series since 2001.

Show chief, Phil Edgar Jones, has already made plans to make CBB6 the funniest series yet: “We’re trying to make it a funny three weeks. We’ve designed some very amusing tasks with some particularly funny costumes.”

Executive producer Sharon Powers teased: “A lot of the tasks will be about life as a celebrity. Daft costumes will play a key part. And some may well get electrocuted.”

The show’s producers also admitted a number of singletons will be entering the house on Friday, claiming there was always potential for romance on the show.

Bosses have already created a fur-lined snug in the garden, comfortable double beds and provided a luxury bath for four celebrities to get in the mood. A programme source told The Sun: “The snug is designed for flirting. It’s fitted with romantic lights and strewn with sensual throws and cushions. A love triangle would be ideal.”

Channel 4 explains live feed reduction



Channel 4 has claimed that the reduction in live feed coverage on this year's Celebrity Big Brother is due to a lack of public demand.

The broadcaster said that recent series have seen a fall in the number of viewers using the red button facility to watch the show and revealed that it will be shifting its resources to the official online site.

"We thought about this long and hard and we didn't have the live feed for Celebrity Hijack either," said Channel 4 commissioning editor David Williams.

"In the summer we found - and it's been a trend over the last couple of series - that less people are watching the stream on red button, but more people are watching the clips on the website."

He continued: "The numbers didn't justify [the live feed]. We think people will appreciate that we've put our resources into clips and ensuring a quick turnaround on the website.

"There is still overnight coverage and the same sister shows, so I think in terms of Big Brother being in many places, we are doing that more than ever before."

Celebrity is "too fragile and mentally unstable"

A female celebrity has already been axed from CBB6 after failing the psychological tests, according to the Daily Star.

For the first time ever, celebrities have had to undergo advanced psychological tests to ensure that they are stable enough to enter the Big Brother house. Bosses have introduced the tests to ensure there is no repeat of the Jade-Shilpa race row which surrounded the last series.

However, the Daily Star has revealed that one high profile female has sensationally been axed after failing her test. The identity of the female star cannot be printed for legal reasons.

A shrink told the newspaper that the celebrity was “too fragile, mentally unstable” and had “major unresolved issues”. He went on to say that it would have been “a major risk” putting her in the house as the celeb could have had a breakdown.

The celebrity was a dead-cert to enter the house until the test results were revealed. The star, who was hoping to revive her flagging career, is thought to be “furious and heartbroken”.

The celebrity has been well-known for over 20 years, working as a model, TV presenter and an actor. However, it was her private life which put her in the media spotlight after she had a secret affair in the late 1980s. In the 90s, she made headlines with her drink and drug addiction. At one stage she even nearly committed suicide.

In the last few years, the celebrity cleaned up her act after going to rehab and was looking forward to appearing on the show.

A friend told the Daily Star: “She is devastated. As far as she is concerned, she is not unstable and can cope with anything. She doesn’t drink or do drugs any more. She is getting her life back on track and she thought she would pass the psych test. No way is she bonkers. It’s a major blow. She is very angry and wants the producers to know that she doesn’t agree with their report on her.”

Channel 4 have declined to comment over the matter, however the celebrity’s ex-agent said: “I would never have advised her to do this show in the first place.”

LUCY'S BIG BRO SEX SPIES



LUCY Pinder is to be tagged like a lag in the Celebrity Big Brother house so TV bosses can monitor if she gets up to any mischief.

The Daily Star fave, 25, will wear the special tracker at all times, which will show what she is up to, where she is and who she is with.

All the celebs will be fitted with the special tags, which will send out signals to a giant computer map of the BB house.

This is so programme chiefs and fans can monitor their performance “by numbers”.

Producers will be able to assess who:
* Has had sex and how many times.
* Spends the most time in the bath.
* Snoozes in bed the longest.
* Hangs out with who the most.
* Spends the most hours pleasuring themselves in the loo or under the covers.
* Cosies up in the snuggle den for hours.
* Is the kitchen kaiser ruling the cooking all the time.
* Is always in the Diary Room having a bitch.

The stunt is an experiment to look at the celebrities’ behaviour and performance for the three-week long Channel 4 show.

The celebs will be rated each day by numbers in a statistical system similar to that used at football matches to assess players’ performances.

All the data on the tagged BB celebs will be collated daily and the results will be revealed on the Channel 4 and E4 spin-off show Big Brother’s Little Brother every night.

When the celebs get evicted from the house, they will be told what their tag has revealed about them.

A show spokesman said: “The device will bring a new dimension to the show. Housemates voted off may be questioned on their movements in the Big Brother house based on the information we have derived from the device.

“The tracking system will enable the show’s producers to monitor the movements and habits of the housemates. The programme psychologists will also be able to interpret the behaviour.”

The shrinks will monitor the information recorded from the tracking devices.

They will be looking to see if anyone appears lonely for long periods of time and it will alert producers if they think anyone is cracking up.

And producers will also be working out if any potential romances are forming, based on the amount of time celebs spend with each other.

Showmakers Endemol have enlisted the help of high-tech wizards Wavetrend for the experiment.

They have supplied the tracking system, which will be fitted to the stars’ microphones.

Tony Mortimer on standby



The former boy-band member could be in with a chance

Former East 17 star Tony Mortimer is reportedly on standby for this series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Every year the producers will put one or two housemates on standby so that if a housemate decides to walk or gets the boot then they can be replaced.

38-year-old Mortimer is hoping that someone will drop out of the show so that he can head back into the limelight and make a come back.

A source said: ”Tony’s really excited, he really wants someone to walk so he can go in.”

The report also suggests that results from rigorous psychological tests will determine whether a celebrity lives in heaven or hell for the duration of their stay.

Michael Jackson's sibling apparently pulled out of the ITV reality show because of fears over the Bushtucker trials and intrusion into her private life.
